Amelia Powell

Amelia Powell is a co-founder at HerCollective, where efforts focus on promoting feminist and gender-equal urban spaces through accessible design and research for designers and policymakers in the UK. Since August 2020, Amelia has served as a Planning Officer and Planning Support Officer for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils. Previous roles include a Care Home Assistant at The Orders of St John Care Trust and a Lifeguard at GLL. Amelia has also worked as a Barista at Beetroot Café during the holiday season. Amelia holds a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Dundee, completed in 2021, and attended St Gregory the Great School in Oxford from 2010 to 2017.
