Tom Stephens

Tom Stephens is currently a Trustee at SAYRE SCHOOL. Tom has previously worked as the Fortnight Festival Director at Alltech, as well as Corporate Counsel and Cabinet Secretary, Kentucky Personnel Cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Stephens has also been self-employed as Stephens Enterprises, LLC.

Tom Stephens has over fifteen years of experience in event management, marketing, and legal work. Tom is a highly experienced negotiator, having negotiated with production companies, artists, and external agencies such as the Beach Boys, the Temptations, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Josh Turner, Gary Allan, Miranda Lambert, and Nickelback. Stephens is also well-versed in employment law and has served as both General Counsel and Cabinet Secretary for the Personnel Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In their current role as Trustee at SAYRE SCHOOL, Stephens is responsible for the overall governance of the school. Tom works with the school administration to ensure that SAYRE SCHOOL provides a high-quality education to its students. Stephens is also responsible for fundraising and financial oversight of the school.

Tom Stephens has a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University, and a High School Diploma from Sayre School. Tom is certified by SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and by the Kentucky Bar Association as an attorney. Tom also has a certification from Loyola University University New Orleans in International Legal Studies.
