Samir Osman

Samir Osman is a telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network engineering and planning. Currently serving as a Consultant at SBA Communications since September 2024, Samir previously held the position of Director of Network Engineering & Expansion at Hotwire Communications Ltd from November 2018 to June 2024, where leadership was provided to the engineering team in the planning, design, deployment, and management of network expansion. Prior roles include Manager of Network Planning & Engineering at Frontier Communications from April 2016 to November 2018 and a similar position at Verizon from December 2004 to April 2016, contributing to transport planning and equipment standards. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Consulting Engineer at Verizon and as a Network Engineer at AT&T. Samir holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Systems from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Khartoum.
