Nicolas Denis

Nicolas DENIS is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the mechanical design field, currently working at SBM Offshore since June 2022 as a contractor through Parlym. Prior to this role, Nicolas held positions at Parlym and GROUPE STUDIEL, focusing on static and fatigue finite element analysis for offshore projects. Notable projects include validating designs for "Bellmouth" components for SBM Offshore and deploying finite element analysis models from Ansys to Abaqus. Nicolas began a career in stress analysis at TechnipFMC, where skills in finite element analysis, stress reporting, and calculations were developed. Educational qualifications include a 5-Year Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ISAT and a 2-Year Degree from Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès, along with a MOOC from IFP School on Tomorrow's Mobility.
