Evan Ellis

Evan Ellis is an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major at the University of California, Berkeley, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a GenAI Intern at Scale AI and a researcher at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research's InterAct Lab, Evan has experience in active learning and representation learning. Previous roles include AI Researcher at Imbue, Software Engineer at Salesforce, and General Partner at Genesis Quantum Partners. As Chief Technology Officer at The Connected Foundation, Evan led tech initiatives to educate seniors, while earlier contributions at Applied Research Laboratories resulted in a Best Paper award at an IEEE conference. Additionally, Evan created TXCSOpen, facilitating over 30 virtual competitions for a large audience. Early career experience includes data analysis at Austin Community College.
