Zifan Wang

Zifan (Sail) Wang is a research scientist specializing in AI safety at Scale AI since June 2024. Previously, Zifan held positions as a machine learning engineer at Tiny Fish Inc., focusing on developing infrastructure for AI agents, and as a research engineer at the Center for AI Safety. Zifan's experience includes research internships at Google, where Zifan contributed to adversarially robust model development and research on robust transfer learning networks. Early career roles included machine learning engineering positions at Truera and a LIDAR SLAM engineer at Hyperception, Inc. Zifan holds a PhD and a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, along with academic experience at institutions such as the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the National University of Singapore.
