Delene Taute

Delene Taute is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in ESG reporting and strategy development. Currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Advisor at Scatec ASA since November 2018, Delene oversees annual and quarterly sustainability reporting and works on global ESG data management across various domains, including climate, biodiversity, and human rights. Prior roles include Sustainability Analyst at Scatec ASA and Field Finance Manager at Global Vision International, where Delene contributed to financial management and sustainability reporting. Delene's background in financial analysis and responsible investment dates back to positions at Alternative Prosperity and internships while completing a Master's degree in Sustainable Development at Stellenbosch University. Delene holds multiple degrees, including an MPhil in Sustainable Development and a Bachelor's in Financial Accounting, complemented by participation in the UN Global Compact's Young SDG Innovators Programme.
