Devan Pillay

Devan Pillay is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple sectors, including energy, electrical distribution, and enterprise solutions. Currently serving as President of Anglophone Africa Cluster at Schneider Electric since November 2020, Devan previously held prominent positions such as Vice President at Signify and President/CEO of Signify Africa. A seasoned professional, Devan has also been Managing Director at 3M, overseeing business growth in Anglophone Africa, and held various strategic roles in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier roles include Regional Director at GE and General Manager at Aberdare Cables, along with foundational positions at Schneider Electric and Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd. Devan holds an M.B.A. from GIBS Business School and other degrees in Electrical Engineering and Energy Management from esteemed institutions.
