Solomon Birhanu

Solomon Birhanu is an experienced project manager with a strong background in the electrical and renewable energy sectors. Currently employed at Schneider Electric since April 2024, Solomon has previously managed projects at LaMarco Systems, Inc. and S&S Systems of America, Inc., focusing on security and fire alarm systems, as well as access control systems. Solomon's expertise extends to significant roles at Ethiopian Electric Utility, where Solomon led the Addis Ababa Transmission & Distribution System project, achieving a 35% productivity increase. Other experience includes business development in the solar market, advisory roles to the CEO, and various engineering positions within Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation. Solomon holds a Master of International Business from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Jimma University.
