Alton Mies

Alton Mies is an incoming Investment Banking Analyst at Marathon Capital, starting in June 2024, and has previously held the role of Summer Investment Banking Analyst. Alton serves as Co-President and Vice President of Member Experience at Scholars of Finance, where responsibilities include developing a mentorship program and leading community-building events for the Duke chapter. Additionally, Alton is a Certified General Member of the Duke Investment Club and has been a Finance and Sales Specialist at MIES OUTLAND, INC. since May 2020, successfully managing numerous financial transactions and increasing customer acquisition. Alton is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Duke University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Saint John's Preparatory School, completed in 2021.
