Alex Brailescu

Alex Brailescu, CFA, is an accomplished L/S Equity Analyst at Schonfeld since February 2022, specializing in the consumer sector. Prior experience includes a role at Citadel Global Equities from November 2019 to January 2022, where focus was on quantmental strategies, fundamental analysis, and alternative data in consumer discretionary investments. At BlackRock, from August 2015 to October 2019, Alex was involved in rates, credit, equity, and real estate modeling, as well as multi-asset portfolio construction for family offices. Earlier experience includes an internship at J.P. Morgan in the summer of 2014. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours in Economics and Business from UCL, completed in 2015.
