Greisy Genao is an experienced program facilitator currently working at Schools That Can since May 2022, where Genao leads career readiness workshops for high school students. Previously, Genao worked as a consultant for the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services, facilitating a digital storytelling project for youth. Genao also held positions at The Posse Foundation, contributing as a Strategic Projects + Training Associate and Administrative Assistant. Early experience includes a production internship at La Galeria Magazine, focusing on storytelling for the Dominican-American community, and community-building work with the Sadie Nash Leadership Project. Genao earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from DePauw University in 2018.
