Vanessa began her management and human resources career in the retail and restaurant space. As a Regional Hiring and Training Manager for McOpCo, she was responsible for onboarding and developing new hires within the New York metro region. With a balance of nurture and embracing nature, she uniquely understands how individuals learn and what motivates them to succeed.

Vanessa left the restaurant industry and entered clinical research at PRA Health Sciences where she was responsible for recruiting high-level technical and scientific roles.

As her career progressed, she moved into human resources management with a technology/capital equipment company, Trilogy Leasing, and a start-up technology company, Contract Logix, respectively. Her creative, out-of-the-box thinking allowed her to develop an entire department on tight purse-string budgets while creating a fun and collaborative work environment centered on growth and employee development. Her recruiting and corporate organizational experience was essential in this role.

As the Director of Human Resources since 2021, Vanessa has found a home with Schylling Inc., a nostalgic and innovative toy company. Her dedication to employees and ensuring a positive work environment assisted with the organization's growth by 150%, and she continues to drive process improvement and increase employee satisfaction while ensuring corporate integrity.

Vanessa has been successful in public, private, and venture capitalist environments, and her range of experience from worldwide to small companies gives her the ability to understand growth projection, implement organizational structure, and develop succession-planning strategies while encompassing the many essential facets of the Human Resources department.
