John Njogu

John Njogu is a Research Assistant at Science for Africa Foundation, focusing on evidence generation and science policy engagement in African research related to artificial intelligence and data science. Prior experience includes roles such as Bioinformatics Teaching Assistant at H3ABioNet, where support was provided to students on coding issues, and a Bioinformatics Research Intern at ICIPE, involving reproducible research and computational biology. Additionally, John worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at HackBio, contributing to projects in genomics and metatranscriptomics, and held various trainee positions in laboratories and agricultural research, enhancing skills in molecular diagnostics and bio-safety training.
