Jesse McCool

Jesse McCool is an accomplished leader in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Science Museum Oklahoma and as Co-Founder and CEO of Wheeler Bio since August 2020, where a unique partnering model addresses industry challenges in biologics drug development. Previously, Jesse held significant roles at Cytovance Biologics, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing technology transformation and R&D services. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Microbial Services at Lonza and roles at Mascoma LLC and Dartmouth College as a Postdoctoral R&D Scientist. Jesse's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an advanced course in Microbial Physiology and Fermentation Technology from Delft University of Technology.
