Sharon Snyder

Sharon Snyder has over three decades of experience in managing international science fairs and volunteer recruitment, currently serving as Director of International Fairs and Volunteers for the Society for Science since July 1989. Responsibilities include overseeing fairs in over 80 countries and recruiting numerous volunteers, interpreters, and judges for events like the Intel ISEF in Dallas (2023) and Los Angeles (2024). Sharon also holds a role as National Organizer for the USA at various European Union contests and has presented at Educator Academies globally. Previously, Sharon worked as a Program Manager for the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair and as a Cruise and Land Specialist at Cruise Planners. Sharon is a Certified Meeting Professional, having received certification from the Convention Industry Council and holds a Volunteer Management Certification.
