Alexander Denisov

Alexander Denisov is an experienced professional in the nuclear engineering sector, currently serving as the Head of Technical Coordination for MINERVA Design & Build at SCK CEN since August 2019. In this role, Alexander leads a team to establish facility-wide development strategies, engineering processes, and interface management. Previously, Alexander held positions as Project Officer and Deputy Group Head for MINERVA Target Facilities, where responsibilities included merging engineering processes with project management practices and supervising key subcontractors. Prior experience includes leading projects with international teams at Sosny Research and Development Company, managing accounts for the US Department of Energy, and conducting market analysis for Fuel Company TVEL. Alexander's career began as a Nuclear & Radiation Safety Engineer, providing safety analyses for various nuclear power plants. Alexander holds a Master of Science degree in High Energy Accelerator Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, earned in 2011.
