Jeroen Engelen

Jeroen Engelen is an experienced professional in the fields of nuclear facilities and engineering, currently serving as the Expertise Group Head for Nuclear Facilities and Unit Head Balance of Plant at SCK-CEN since February 2011, while also leading the MYRRHA project. Engelen is a member of LKN2030, an initiative focused on achieving climate neutrality in Leuven. As the owner and manager of engelen ingenieurs since July 2008, Jeroen Engelen combines project engineering expertise with management skills. Previous roles include project engineer and architect at STABO from April 2008 to January 2011, and project architect for hospitals and healthcare at Archiduk from 2005 to 2007. Academic qualifications include degrees in civil engineering and civil engineer-architecture from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, as well as a civil engineering degree from KU Leuven and a secondary school teaching qualification from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
