Ben Diedrich

Ben Diedrich is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the beverage and financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director, USA for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society since February 2018, Ben has also held positions as Director and Market Strategy & Communications in the same organization. As the Founder & Principal of The Single Malt Alliance since November 2015, Ben demonstrates entrepreneurial skills in the whisky industry. Previous roles include Media Sales Executive at Curiosity.com and Director of Global Sales at Collaborata, where Ben was instrumental in developing the company's sales strategy. Ben's earlier career at Mesirow Financial spanned eight years, during which time Ben held multiple positions including Business Development Executive and Technology Practice Leader, focusing on establishing a dedicated business insurance practice for the technology sector. Ben holds a BA in Communication Studies and Business from the University of Iowa and has studied at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
