Alan Ogg

Alan Ogg currently serves as the Head of Technology, Engineering & Construction at SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Ogg worked as the Subject Network Leader for Engineering and Built Environment (Interim) at the University of the Highlands and Islands from September 2019 to February 2022, and as the Project Director for STEM at West Highland College UHI from January 2019 to September 2019. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Director at North Highland College from June 2011 to January 2019. Alan Ogg’s academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Higher and Tertiary Education from UHI, a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from UHI, and a Teaching Qualification from the University of Dundee.
