Shaun Berry

Shaun Berry currently serves as Vice President of Innovation & Growth at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Shaun was Vice President of Research & Development at Certis Biologicals from November 2022 to May 2024. Shaun's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at BASF, where Shaun held various titles including Global Marketing Manager and Global Product Development Manager, overseeing multiple global businesses and R&D projects. Earlier positions included Regional Product Development Manager and Provincial Sales Manager at Becker Underwood, as well as a Scientist at the South African Sugarcane Research Institute. Shaun's educational background encompasses a PhD in Parasitology and an MBA in Marketing/Innovation from North Carolina State University, among other degrees in microbiology and plant pathology from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Montpellier.
