Salman Faris

Salman Faris is a skilled professional with extensive experience in customer success, technical support, and community engagement within the tech and maker spaces. Currently serving in a customer success role at Screenly, Salman develops digital signage applications and supports customers with Screenly Edge apps. As a co-founder of MakerGram, Salman connects makers to facilitate electronics and hardware prototyping. With a background at Seeed Studio as both a ranger and technical consultant, Salman has promoted maker projects and improved community engagement. Previously at Nebra, Salman addressed escalated technical issues for LoRa gateway hardware. Additional roles include board membership at the Open Source Hardware Association and management of smart city technology initiatives at STEAG Energy Services. Salman has also contributed to educational programs as a Fab Academy instructor and technology innovation fellow at Kerala Startup Mission. Academic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science and diplomas in digital fabrication and interaction design.
