May-Linn Paulsen

May-Linn Paulsen is a highly skilled research programmer with extensive experience in software engineering and research. Currently employed at Scripps Research since October 2023, May-Linn previously held various roles at Strateos from November 2021 to June 2023, including software engineer and automation scientist. Prior to that, research was conducted as a graduate student researcher at Scripps Institution of Oceanography from August 2015 to December 2021, focusing on TRIS-buffer techniques in artificial seawater for pH analysis. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Oceanography from UC San Diego, a Master's in Analytical Chemistry, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stavanger, where leadership roles included serving as president of the student organization for chemistry students and vice president of the Freshman week planning committee.
