Lubos Kosco

Lubos Kosco is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various companies and roles. Currently, Lubos serves as a Software Engineer at ScyllaDB since 2019. Prior to this, Lubos was a Project Manager and Lead Developer at {OpenGrok, overseeing one of the leading open source code search engines since 2007. Lubos has held senior positions, including Senior Software Engineer at Sizmek, focusing on high-performance ad bidding solutions, and a Senior Rocket Scientist at Rocket Fuel Inc., where work involved real-time ad processing. Additional experience includes roles at Oracle and Sun Microsystems, developing cloud management and remote OS provisioning solutions, and early roles in network administration and web development. Lubos holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Košice, completed between 2000 and 2005.
