Velan Ramakrishnan

Velan Ramakrishnan is a seasoned professional in IT security and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Solution Engineering and Customer Success in Cybersecurity at SDG Corporation since April 2021. Prior to this role, Velan held the position of Program Manager for Global Identity and Access Management at Sony Electronics, successfully implementing a Global IAM solution using SailPoint over 18 months. Velan’s career also includes significant contributions at Texas Instruments as a Program Manager focused on Cyber Security, where 16 strategic programs were completed over four years, and at XL Group, where cyber security implementations were managed across multiple global offices. Velan began the professional journey at Deutsche Bank as a Risk and Control Analyst, participating in critical business continuity planning during the London Olympics 2012. Velan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Anna University Chennai.
