Brian Schoeneman

Brian Schoeneman currently serves as the Political and Legislative Director for the Seafarers International Union of North America, a role held since January 2011. Previously, Brian held various positions including Director and General Counsel at Virginia Line Media LLC and Secretary of the Fairfax County Electoral Board. With a background in government relations, Brian has worked as Managing Partner at Acacia Strategies LLC, a Law Clerk for the National Association of Social Workers, and in roles at the United States Department of Labor and the American Maritime Congress. Brian's educational credentials include a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, an M.A. in Political Management from George Washington University, and participation in the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership program at the University of Virginia.
