Peggy Sullivan

Peggy Sullivan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Division of Trading and Markets at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2020. Prior to this role, Sullivan was Chief of Staff at Vela, a leader in data and execution technology for electronic trading, from November 2017 to February 2020. Between February 2013 and July 2017, Sullivan held the position of Vice President for Strategic Analysis & Market Data at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., overseeing key initiatives and serving as Administrator of the Consolidated Tape Association. Sullivan's earlier career at NYSE spanned from 1997 to 2013, where responsibilities included managing Global Market Data Operations and US Account Management, with various roles culminating as Managing Director. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Loyola University Maryland.
