Shahi Nawaz

Shahi Nawaz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in disaster preparedness and management. Currently serving as a Training Officer at Secours Islamique France since May 2023, Shahi specializes in Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction. Prior to this role, Shahi contributed as a Community Master Trainer, volunteering with the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat Focus Humanitarian Assistance from October 2009 to May 2023. Additional roles include Field Executive at Sybrid Private Limited from April 2021 to July 2022, CBDRM Officer at the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Peshawar from March 2017 to March 2020, and Research Officer. Shahi holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Disaster Preparedness and Management from the University of Peshawar, completed between 2013 and 2015.
