Elizabeth Charles

Elizabeth Charles, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in diversity, equity, and inclusion, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Securian Canada since April 2024. Elizabeth holds multiple academic roles, including instructor at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and professor at George Brown College. As CEO and Founder of EHC Leadership, Elizabeth focuses on fostering inclusive leadership through innovative educational methods. Previous positions include Director of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at WeirFoulds LLP, Vice President of People, Culture & Equity at CNIB, and various human resources roles in organizations such as the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Park Hyatt Toronto. Elizabeth's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Social Justice Education from the University of Toronto and a Master of Education in Leadership, Higher and Adult Education.
