Ryan Frillman

Ryan Frillman is currently an Advisor at Security Advisor Alliance. Prior to this, they worked as a Cloud Information Security Officer (CISO) at Netskope from October 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for driving thought leadership in cloud security strategies across Netskope customers that include fortune 100 companies. Ryan provided advisement on security transformation that supports cloud integration and digital transformation. Additionally, they managed a global team of Subject Matter Experts, CISOs that interact and provide program enablement to Netskope customers.

Before their time at Netskope, Frillman worked as the Director of Information Security and Compliance (CISO) at Spire (formerly The Laclede Group) from March 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the information security and compliance enterprise program for a natural gas energy utility. This included providing a comprehensive oversight for all information security and compliance strategies for the enterprise. Their duties also included information security support for all information technology systems and services, which consisted of a risk management approach. This included ensuring team members were well trained, maturing the incident response plan, enhancing patch management, adhering to SOX compliance for information technology and managing department’s budget. Frillman also managed a team across multiple geographical areas.

Ryan Frillman earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Illinois University. Ryan then pursued a Master of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix, with a focus in Business Administration and Management, as well as Technology Management.
