Rene Kapa

Rene Kapa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in orchard management and operations. Currently serving as the Regional Orchard Manager at Seeka Limited since September 2021, Rene leads a team to optimize the production of a diverse orchard portfolio within a prominent horticultural company. Prior to this role, Rene was the Orchard Manager at Opotiki Packing and Coolstorage, effectively managing operational orchard budgets for 55 hectares valued at NZD $2.75 million. Rene also has a background as a semi-professional beach volleyball athlete, striving for qualification for the Commonwealth Games, along with experience as an Accounting Manager at Te Runanga o Ngati Awa, where Rene managed financial reporting and strategy development. Rene holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from The University of Waikato, completed in June 2015.
