Alex Budny

Alex Budny, FRM, CAIA, currently serves as the Director of Data Product Management at SEI, managing a team of over 25 product resources and overseeing a significant budget focused on data operations and analytics. Prior experience includes roles at State Street as Implementation Manager for Alpha Data Services and Global Head of the Trade Analytics Group, where leadership involved transaction cost analysis and investment oversight. Alex also held positions at Natixis Global Asset Management as VP of Portfolio Consulting, and at The Boston Company as Director of Portfolio Engineering. Earlier career experience includes key roles at Lehman Brothers and FAME Information Services Inc., specializing in equity trading, derivatives research, and data analytics. Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology.
