Membership and Representation

The Membership and Representation team at SEIU Local 509 is responsible for actively engaging with and supporting the union’s nearly 20,000 members. This team ensures effective representation by addressing members' concerns, facilitating communication between union leadership and members, and handling grievances and disputes. They also focus on membership growth and retention, coordinating efforts to organize new members and maintain accurate membership records.
