Sean Tyacke

Sean Tyacke is a seasoned professional in the life sciences and commercial development sectors, currently holding positions at Semarion as a Commercial Development specialist and at Sertain Consulting as a Business Consultant, providing advisory services for two European companies since April 2024. Previously, Sean served as Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President of Commercial Operations at Pelago Bioscience AB, and held various roles at Roche Diagnostics, including Senior Manager of Life Science Alliances. Additional experience includes leadership roles in sales and business development at companies such as Horizon Discovery and Molecular Devices, as well as significant contributions to the European Laboratory Research and Innovation Group (ELRIG) from 2010 to 2019. Sean began academic pursuits with a PhD focused on immune responses at the Medical Research Council, following a research assistant role at the University of Southampton, and holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
