Cindy Morgan

Cindy Morgan is a highly experienced consultant with nearly 30 years of hands-on experience building robust talent pipelines, managing complex organizational change, and serving as a trusted advisor to leaders in a variety of organizations and industries.

Cindy has experience in delivering strategic human resources services and leading change initiatives across the full spectrum of the healthcare industry, including: acute care, post-acute care, long term care, physician practices, population management, managed care, pharmaceuticals and academic medicine. Since 2014, Cindy serves as the Vice President of Learning & Organization Development at Penn Medicine and leads the Penn Medicine Academy (PMA). PMA is responsible for workforce development, talent management, leadership development, change management, patient experience, simulation and learning strategies and infrastructure for the nationally ranked academic medical center with 45,000+ faculty and staff and $7.5 billion in revenue. While serving in her current role, Cindy also served as the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer across the University of Pennsylvania Health System for two years which included the onset of COVID-19.

​Prior to joining Penn Medicine, Cindy was the Vice President of Organization Development & Learning at the NYU Langone Medical Center, where she led a team of forty change agents responsible for building talent management, leadership development and change management strategies for the nationally ranked academic medical center with nearly 20,000 faculty and staff and $3Billion in revenue. Among many successful interventions and projects, Cindy and her team implemented an enterprise-wide competency framework and an engagement survey, which were both applicable to faculty and staff and were considered groundbreaking in academic medicine.

​Prior to her work at NYULMC, Cindy was the Director of Organization Development at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York where she led a team of ten in driving employee engagement and retention and building talent management infrastructure for the organization consisting of 12,000 employees and earning $1Billion in revenue. Before that, Cindy was a Principal Consultant at Akibia where she was responsible for selling and delivering strategy and change management consulting services for system implementations across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, news media, stock footage, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Earlier in her career, Cindy worked at UnitedHealthcare as the National Manager of Training and Development, where she provided training to 30 health plans and served as an executive coach for sales and service leaders, which resulted in improvements in overall sales performance. She started her career at Wallace Labs as a Senior Professional Medical Sales Representative where she was ranked nationally and exceeded her sales target each year.
