Mathew Szalay

Mathew Szalay is an experienced Mech/Structural Draughtsman currently employed at SENET (Pty) Ltd. since October 2020, specializing in the detailing and interpretation of layout drawings for mining-type structures using Advance Steel. Previously, Mathew held the position of Senior Structural Draftsman at DRA Global from June 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities included creating 3D models and 2D drawings of structural steel buildings. Mathew's extensive background also includes over 14 years at Worley, serving in various capacities including CAD Draftsman/Modeller and Section Leader, where the focus was on integrated structural designs and layouts tailored to mining needs. Early career experience includes serving as a Production Foreman at Synek Engineering, supported by educational qualifications in Mechanical Engineering from Roodepoort College and John Orr Technical High School.
