Shaun Garnett

Shaun Garnett is a seasoned bioinformatician currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatician at Sengenics since March 2022. In addition, Shaun has been a Freelance Bioinformatician with DIPLOMICS since January 2020 and operates as a Data Science Freelancer on Upwork since July 2017. Previously, Shaun worked at the University of Cape Town from January 2010 to March 2022 in roles including Postdoctoral Research Fellow, PhD Student, Mass Spectrometry Technician, and Bioinformatician. Shaun's educational background includes a B.Sc (Honours) in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, and Physiology from the University of the Free State, and another Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of South Africa. Shaun also holds a high school diploma from Grey College, earned between 1994 and 1998.
