Peng Liu

Peng Liu currently serves as the Genomics Lead at Sensient Food Color, starting in December 2024. Prior to this role, Peng Liu held various positions at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center from September 2019 to December 2024, including Senior Research Scientist, Research Scientist, Co-Chair of the Committee for Scientific Training and Mentoring (CSTM), and Postdoctoral Associate. Additionally, from January 2023 to December 2024, Peng Liu contributed as the Assistant Features Editor of The Plant Cell for the American Society of Plant Biologists. Previous academic experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Associate and Research Assistant at the University of Florida from May 2013 to September 2019. Peng Liu attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Florida.
