Carrie Carter

Carrie Carter, PharmD, BCPS, currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacist at Sentara Health since July 2024, following a role as Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Augusta Health from August 2020 to June 2024. Prior experience includes working as a PGY1 Clinical Pharmacy Practice Resident at Sentara Healthcare from June 2019 to June 2020 and as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS/pharmacy from January 2016 to May 2019, where Carrie honed communication and patient care skills, ensured medication safety, and provided patient counseling. Carrie also contributed as an Academic Coach & Tutor at Bridgewater College, assisting students with assignment organization and subject reinforcement. Educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry & Biology from Bridgewater College.
