Venkat Sharma

Venkat Sharma is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Sentient Solutions for Accounting since June 2019, Venkat is committed to addressing client challenges through innovative solutions in the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence and automation. As a Founder and Board Member of Advantum Health, Venkat has driven growth through six acquisitions and enhanced service offerings for healthcare providers. Previously, Venkat founded and led iMedX as President & CEO, establishing it as a prominent outsource provider for clinical documentation services. Venkat also founded Acorn Information Services, guiding it from startup to public company through a merger. Earlier career experience includes a directorial role at 3M, where management of IT services for the magazine publishing sector was a key responsibility. Venkat holds a BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and an MS in Management from Clemson University.
