Rachel Barkley

Rachel Barkley is an experienced professional with a strong background in scientific research and consulting. Currently serving as Consultant II at Sequence Inc. since November 2017, Rachel has progressed through various roles including Consultant I and Specialist in IT Quality. Prior to this, Rachel worked at Recipharm, where responsibilities included developing transdermal and topical delivery systems as a Chemist I. Rachel's experience also spans roles at Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, NC Cooperative Extension, Intrexon Corporation, UNC Chapel Hill, and Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, highlighting skills in analytical method development, database management, and education. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate in Environmental Assessment from North Carolina State University, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Assessment at North Carolina State University.
