Rob Guyton is currently an advisor at Servato. Rob has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital industry.
Rob got their start in the industry in 1989 as a financial analyst for Lehman Brothers. Rob then moved on to The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc. where they became a vice president and associate. In 1996, they co-founded Inktomi Corporation and served as a director of the board, president of the search engine division, and VP of business development. In 1998, Inktomi had a successful IPO and was bought by Yahoo.
In 1997, Rob left Inktomi to join Trilogy Capital Partners as a principal. The following year, they successfully created a company in the collections industry called Convergent Resources, Inc. Through multiple acquisitions, they were able to grow the company with the backing of CGW Southeast Partners, LLC.
In 2007, Rob became a managing partner at Monarch Capital Partners. Rob held this position for 10 years before joining Servato as an advisor.
Rob Guyton has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, General, from Washington and Lee University. Rob also went to Westminster School.
