Represents the community sector on the Board of Directors of SLPR; sector in which he has stood out for defending the rights of residents of the special communities of PR from his Los Filtros community in Guaynabo. He is a cabinetmaker. Along with other leaders, he successfully lobbied for the approval and defense of the law that protects special communities in PR. He is a member of the Community Leaders Alliance and was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Special Communities Trust by former Governor Alejandro García Padilla. Because of his commitment to access to justice for the poor, he was appointed commissioner of the Advisory Commission on Access to Justice of the Puerto Rico Judicial Branch.
