Matyas Ecsedi

Matyas Ecsedi is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical development and oncology, currently serving as Director of Early Clinical Development at Servier since November 2023. Prior to this, Matyas held the position of Medical Director at Takeda from February 2021 to September 2023, leading early translational oncology efforts and global programs focused on solid tumor cell engagers. Matyas gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Fred Hutch, specializing in T cell receptor-transgenic therapies for myeloid malignancies. Matyas completed a residency and fellowship in Hematology at University Hospital Basel and played a pivotal role in the approval process for a phase I/II clinical trial involving natural killer cell immunotherapy. Academic training includes a PhD in Genetics and an MD from the University of Basel, complemented by significant research contributions on microRNA function and cancer treatment modalities.
