Matt Grimes

Matt Grimes is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at SES Engineering Services since January 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held multiple positions at Wates Group from October 2018, including Technical Services Manager, MEP Aftercare Manager, and Project Engineer. Matt's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Laing O'Rourke for a brief period in 2018 and as an Electrical Project Engineer at Wates Group from 2015 to 2018. Prior to these roles, Matt worked at Kier Group from 2008 to September 2015 as a Building Services Engineer (Electrical) and building services supervisor, and at JJ Cross ltd (T Clarke) as an Electrical supervisor from January 2003 to February 2008. Matt's educational background includes training at PPL Training in 2014, and studies at Preston College from 1995 to 1998, following completion of secondary education at Albany High School from 1990 to 1995.
