Betty Chia

Betty Chia currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Settle since May 2024 and is a Founding Member of TechGC, an exclusive community for General Counsels. Previously, Betty established the legal and compliance framework at Kovo from September 2021 to June 2024. Betty held the role of Director of Legal, Regulatory, Product, and Privacy at LendingHome, where guidance was provided on consumer protection and compliance issues from February 2015 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Risk Analyst at Bank of America, E-Discovery Attorney at Special Counsel, and Attorney at Dykema, among others. Betty Chia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law.
