Alun Griffiths

Alun Griffiths is the current Non-Executive Director at Severfield plc. Prior to this, they held the position of Tender Support Manager at Cleveland Bridge Steel Co. Ltd from November 2020 to August 2021. Alun also held the position of Business Development Support at Cleveland Bridge Steel Co. Ltd from November 2020 to November 2020. From May 2013 to April 2015, they were the Commercial Data Co-ordinator at Mabey Bridge Limited.

At Mabey Bridge Limited, their responsibilities included general support for new systems incorporated (CRM & ERP), monitoring and cleansing data within the CRM system, and preparing weekly and monthly performance reports used by the board across the business to determine sales performance against targets set. Alun also sourced new leads, companies and contacts for the sales teams, carried out initial company checks on prospective customers, completed pre-qualification questionnaires for potential new customers, assisted with implementing new technical services system including training, monitored the company mailbox, provided holiday cover to the projects co-ordinator, maintained contract information for the commercial department, created project understandings for the bid management team to include within the bid submission, and created document templates to be used within the sales and commercial departments.

Alun Griffiths attended Chepstow Comprehensive School before studying Accounting at the University of Newport. Alun then went on to study Accounting Technology/Technician and Bookkeeping at Coleg Gwent.
