Anna Spenceley is a prominent expert in sustainable and responsible tourism, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Seychelles Islands Foundation since February 2022 and as a member of the UNDP vetted Rosters of Experts since 2017. As an independent consultant and director of STAND Ltd, Anna has extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, protected areas, and public-private partnerships. Anna holds a Master's degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a PhD in Sustainable Tourism from the University of Greenwich, complemented by postdoctoral research fellowships at the University of the Witwatersrand. Anna has contributed significantly to various organizations, including serving as Chair of the Independent Advisory Group for Travalyst and holding board positions with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and IUCN WCPA Tourism and Protected Areas Specialist Group.
