Samuel Cortes

Samuel Cortes, P.E. is a Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) since May 2016, previously serving as a Project Consultant and Staff I. Prior experience includes a Technical Intern role at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. where key projects involved seismic retrofitting and structural evaluations for various refineries and residential structures. Earlier internships at Flatiron Construction, DPR Construction, and Stanford University provided Samuel with hands-on experience in field engineering, project modeling, and traffic network analysis. Samuel holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Stanford University.
