Dan Coyne

Dan Coyne has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a teacher at Shady Side Academy since August 2001, where instruction focuses on US history and Patterns of Western Identity for high school students. Dan Coyne emphasizes analytical thinking and writing through primary and secondary sources, class discussions, and projects. Prior to this role, Dan Coyne taught and developed middle school history curriculum at St. Alban's Episcopal School from August 1997 to June 2001, while also coaching various athletic teams. Dan Coyne holds a Master's degree in American history and government from Ashland University and a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Texas at Arlington.
